Donor confidence cautiously rises: A new survey shows that 69% of Americans report having a great deal or fair amount of confidence in charities, compared to 64% a year before. Seventy-one percent said that charities waste a great deal or a fair amount of money, up from 66% last year. Charities should take these measures seriously and focus on demonstrating how they spend money wisely, deliver programs and services effectively, and show results.
