Joan Gourley is a consultant with Ekstrom & Associates. She brings 17 years of administration and project management experience. Joan held executive level positions at the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven (CT) and more recently at the William Caspar Graustein Memorial Fund (CT). Retired in June 2006, Joan now puts her talents to use editing and writing occasional pieces for the E&A newsletter, maintaining E&A's website and mailing list, and contributing to project management as needed.
Joan earned a bachelor's degree from Sacred Heart University and has done graduate work at Fairfield University. Her volunteer work has included outreach for the American Cancer Society and Y-Me and hurricane recovery work in New Orleans. A New England native, Joan resides in coastal Connecticut, where she spends much of her free time with her four grandchildren when she is not cruising with her son and daughter-in-law.
